We’re excited to let you know that a filtered water fountain/bottle refill station has been installed and is ready to go! Please remind your children to bring a refillable water bottle from home, as we continue to encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle. Looking forward to seeing you at the PAC meeting on Tuesday morning at 9:00am.
Attention Parents of Grade 5 students…. we have pre-registered your Grade 5 child at HD Stafford Middle School for September, 2018. Please let the Office know if you will be making alternate arrangements for your child this Fall.
Also, please contact the Office if you have a 4-year old at home that you plan to send to Blacklock Fine Arts for Kindergarten in September, 2018, and have not yet registered them, as registrations are ongoing at this time.

Registration is now open for iGirl or iGuy taking place on Feb 23 (ProD). For those who have attended Saleema Noon Sexual Health Education sessions in the past you may have heard about this and may have been waiting to hear this news….for those who have never heard of Saleema Noon (Saleema and her team are AMAZING) you may also be interested to hear….I’m setting up igirl and iguy workshops at Stafford for the Pro D happening Fri Feb 23.
iGirl is a lighthearted, empowerment workshop that prepares 9–12 year old girls for the multimedia pressure-cooker they’ll soon encounter in their teenage years. Saleema Noon and her iGirl team tackle topics including, safety on the internet, healthy body image, how to be assertive in even the toughest situations and how to have healthy friendships and relationships.
iGuy is a straight-to-the-point, lighthearted empowerment workshop that prepares 9-12 year old boys to make smart decisions in even the toughest situations. We’ll challenge society’s definition of masculinity, unmask our secret identity,blow off some steam (in a healthy way), tackle online safety, and help build relationships we can feel proud of. In a style that makes sense to guys, Saleema Noon’s team takes the role of older brother, giving your son the skills and information needed to ace his teenage years.
iGirl & iGuy workshops are being scheduled at Stafford School on Friday February 23rd 2018 Pro D day, 10am-3pm.
Space is limited. I will plan another session if this one fills up. Each group has max of 30 kids.

Depending on # of participants and if we decide to bring in pizza lunch, you may receive a portion refunded. Max would be $40 per participant. (Subsidy may also be available if needed.)

to have your child picked up by 1:30pm, as there will be no supervision after that time.
February 9 – Hot Dog Hot Lunch Day
– Hot Lunch orders are due by the end of the day for the Feb. 19 Hot Lunch Day
February 12 – Family Day – School Not In Session
February 13, 14, & 15 – Talent show auditions take place (sign up for a time slot in the front foyer)
February 14 – Red/Pink/White School Spirit Day – dress up in these colours for Valentines Day
February 19 – Winter Wellness Aboriginal Day
– Subway Hot Lunch Day
February 23 – Professional Development Day – School Not In Session
February 26 – Report Card Preparation Day – Students will be dismissed at 10:45am. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up by 10:45am, as there will be no supervision after that time.
March 1 – Talent Show – All are welcome – 1:00pm & 6:00pm in the Theatre
March 5 – PAC Meeting at 7pm
March 7 – Little Dippers Pod Show @ 9:15am in the Theatre
March 9 – Report Cards Published online
– Super Hero Spirit Day – dress up as your favourite Super Hero
– Kinder Starts “Rhyme TIme” – 1:00-2:30pm – register at the Office
– Hot Lunch Orders due for March 16 Pizza Hut Hot Lunch Day
March 14 & 15 – One Hour Early Dismissal @ 1:45pm for Parent/Teacher Interviews
