February 27, 2020
This week we are celebrating Diversity & Respect Week and tomorrow we encourage everyone to wear the colours of the rainbow. Thank you to everyone who has participated! Parent volunteers, led by Michelle Young, have decorated our halls with a beautiful ‘Choose Kind’ tree and an ‘Angel Wings’ bulletin board. The wings consist of ‘feathers’ that were coloured by your children and have been set up similar to a photo booth, where you can take a picture of your child. Please feel free to come in and take a photo of your child in front of the angel wings.
Tomorrow is Pizza Hot Lunch Day and volunteers are still needed to help make this event run smoothly. If you can help out, please come to the school for 10:30am.
Our Fern Gully Pod (Grades K/1/2) has been working hard to create their upcoming pod show, which will hit the stage at 9:00am on Thursday, March 5, at 9:00am. All are welcome to attend!
Here are the current standings:
Monkeys – 15,365; Parrots – 14,020; Geckos – 15,211; and Jaguars – 13,901.
Have a great weekend!
Susanna Eppich, Principal

2020/2021 SCHOOL YEAR
As preparations are underway for the 2020/2021 school year, it is important that you advise the office if you plan on sending your child to a different school next year. In this way, we can get accurate numbers for planning purposes.
