Hello Blacklock Families:
Well, we have made it through our first 5-day week of 2023! The child and the staff are equally exhausted, and we are all looking forward to a cozy weekend! LOL
This is a reminder to send your children with appropriate clothing for this weather. As we would like to have our children outside in the fresh air as much as possible.
We have challenged all students to wear their house shirts next Thursday, January 19th (and every Thursday after as well). They will earn a yellow brick for wearing them! In addition, students can earn house points by ensuring they have a refillable water bottle at school. Every time a students come to the office to ask for a water bottle the Tinmen (staff) get points.
Popcorn continues to be on sale at the office. In order to conclude this fundraiser, we have reduced the price to $2 a bag as of Monday, January 16th.
Connecting Generations Exhibition (art from our students) is on display from Jan 11th – Feb 22nd, 2023, at The Township of Langley Civic Center.
The Langley School District is putting on presentations for new families to Canada that might need more help with Kindergarten registration. Kindergarten in Langley 2023
