Here’s hoping you’ve all had a wonderful Canada Day weekend and that the first days of your summer vacation have been relaxing and filled with family and friends! This has been a great year of bringing community together under the Hogwart’s theme. Thank you to everyone who participated in making this year’s theme so successful! Congratulations Ravenclaw for winning the house cup with a grand total of 16,650 points! A commemorative plaque will be engraved and placed on display in the office. Next year’s theme will be announced at our opening assembly…date and time to be announced.
The summer reading challenge is to have your child create their very own Baby Shark character and take a photograph of them reading with it in their favourite spot. Please forward the photograph to seppich@sd35.bc.ca or bring in a photo the first week of school.
Students’ first day back after summer holiday is Tuesday, September 3, from 11:30am-1:00pm. Until further notice, please have your child line up at the same door that they used this year, where their past year’s teacher will greet them.
