Lots has happened since our last Newsletter. Our Strings in Spring Concert, the annual Langley Secondary School Grad Walk, tennis lessons, and tonight is our annual Family Fun Night. Later tonight, a group of our Grade 4s and 5s will be performing an excerpt of ‘The Trial: Mother Earth vs. Humanity’ at the School Board Office Trustees meeting. Teachers are busy writing report cards and planning for our final assembly. Don’t forget that it’s Sports Day on Friday. The PAC has generously offered to provide pizza lunch for all the students. Please send snacks and a water bottle. Students are asked to wear their house T-shirts, bring a hat, and wear appropriate footwear as they will be participating in a variety of Hogwarts-inspired activities. Our traditional wheels event will kick off our Sports Day at 9:00am and students are asked to decorate their mode of transportation (including scooters, bikes, broomsticks, etc.) in their house colours. Looking forward to publishing pictures of the Fun Night and Sports Day in our final Blast of the year next week. Six full days of school remaining! Have a great evening!

This year’s three pod shows, and many other exciting Blacklock performances, are for sale! The pre-order price for these fantastic keepsakes is $12. This will give you the ability to download “The Trial”, “Seasons of the Year”, “Broccoli vs. Candy”, the Remembrance Day Ceremony, the Christmas Concert, “Blacklock’s Got Talent”, the “Grade Five Celebration”, and photos from the Grade 4/5 Pod Show.
These videos will be posted on a secure site and will only be accessible with the access code that you purchase. On Tuesday, June 25 you will be emailed your access code which will allow you to download the videos that you want. These videos are for personal viewing only and MAY NOT be posted ANYWHERE on the internet, YouTube, or social media. The videos will ONLY be available for download for two weeks (June 25-July 9) and then they will be removed from the downloading site.
If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please order your access code prior to 9:00pm on Monday, June 24, for the pre-order price of $12. Any orders after this date will be $20 and will only be available for purchase up to June 26.
