March 15, 2019
Today is our last day before Spring Break and we sure packed alot of events into this past week. Thank you to all the parents who came out to support their children during their Student-Led Conferences. I hope that you found the sessions to be informative and that you have taken the time to read the report cards, which provide you with detailed information about curriculum goals and your child’s level of achievement.
Congratulations to the Owl Pod on their fantastic performance of ‘Seasons’ this week. The students learned so much by participating in an event like this. A big thank you to all of the staff, who made this production possible.

Another project completed by our Kindergarten students with their big buddies is the ‘Not a Box’ project. A summary of the projects can be seen by clicking here —> Not A Box Projects 2019
A special thank you to Mr. Richardson, one of our teachers, for all his hard work in the Woodworking Class. A select number of students, under his supervision, enjoy being creative and building things with wood. Their latest project was building a robot.
A special thank you to the City of Langley and the Community Grant Committee for granting Blacklock Fine Arts Elementary the very generous amount of $1,500 to go towards a new camera and accessories. We will be able to capture such beautiful memories!
