Welcome Back! I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break!
Coming home today is a Big Box of cards, it is part of the PAC’s latest fundraiser. Inside the box you will find a letter containing all the information including the order form. The cost is $35 per box of cards and the school will get $11 per box sold. In addition, there are a few prices for the students who sell the most boxes and for the class the sells the most boxes.
Starting on Tuesday, April 11th all our students will be participating in Taekwondo classes, please send your child(s) with appropriate clothing on their day. See the list below for each Divisions date.

Just prior to Spring Break the district leadership team met with me to discuss my willingness to remain Principal of Blacklock Fine Arts School for the 2023-2024 school year. After careful consideration I have informed the district that it would be my great pleasure to stay on. Looking forward to seeing Blacklock students flourish and for our school to continue to be a lighthouse in the Langley school district.

MESSAGES FROM THE GRADE 5 FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE
Grade 4 & 5 year-end field trip fundraising updates:
We have started an on-going bottle drive collection with proceeds going towards grade 4/5 year end field trips.
Please drop off any bottles you have to Fraser Valley Bottle and Return-it Depot (108-22575 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC, V2Z 2T5). You can use the schools phone number (604-530-3188) to print labels for your bag(s). Also, a reminder to please make sure all bags only contain deposit bearing containers.
We also have Purdy’s milk chocolate bars for sale in the office. They are $3 a bar and can be purchased before/after school and during lunch/recess.
