Last week all staff and students across SD#35 participated in activities designed to help us better understand and celebrate the beauty that diversity brings to our community.  Specifically, on Wednesday, Blacklock staff and students wore our new pink shirts with the slogan “Kind is the New Cool”.  Thank you to the Blacklock PAC, who generously provided each staff member with a pink shirt!

If you missed Blacklock’s Got Talent!, you missed an evening of great entertainment.  Congratulations to all of the performers and the amazing staff, who pulled together to make this event possible!  All proceeds raised at the show will go towards continuing to improve our theatre.

– Super Hero Spirit Day – dress up as your favourite Super Hero
– Kinder Starts “Rhyme TIme”  – 1:00-2:30pm – register at the Office
– Hot Lunch Orders due for March 16 Pizza Hut Hot Lunch Day

March 14 & 15 – One Hour Early Dismissal @ 1:45pm for Parent/Teacher Interviews

March 16 – Pizza Hut Hot Lunch Day
– Last Day prior to Spring & Easter Break

April 4 – School re-opens
