Good afternoon families:

I hope you have all been enjoying the sun! With this beautiful weather I wanted to send out a reminder to please send your child everyday with a water bottle to help keep them hydrated. We have also started kilometer club, please make sure your children are wearing appropriate shoes.

Please be advised that we had the wrong days in last weeks blast regarding the Scholastic Book Fair. It will only be open for families on May 9^th to 11^th from 2-4pm in the gym!

We have a few extra house shirts from this year. They are available for purchase for $5 each. Below are the sizes/teams that we have available. Please email Ms. Ruth (kruth@sd35.bc.ca) if you would like to purchase any. We can put the payment on School Cash Online or you can bring in cash.

MESSAGES FROM THE GRADE 5 FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

Grade 4 & 5 year-end field trip fundraising updates:

We have started an on-going bottle drive collection with proceeds going towards grade 4/5 year end field trips.

Please drop off any bottles you have to Fraser Valley Bottle and Return-it Depot (108-22575 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC, V2Z 2T5). You can use the schools phone number (604-530-3188) to print labels for your bag(s). Also, a reminder to please make sure all bags only contain deposit bearing containers.

We also have Purdy’s milk chocolate bars for sale in the office. They are $3 a bar and can be purchased before/after school and during lunch/recess.
