PROFESSOR McGONAGALL
Professor McGonagall provided our students with a challenge to complete in order to receive their house T-Shirts.
Step 1 – As a class, come up with a way to give back to the Blacklock community (i.e. garbage collection for a week, pull weeds, clean cloak room, etc.), provide details to Professor McGonagall for approval and then DO IT!
The first class to complete Step 1 wins a Cupcake Party!
Step 2 – Once all the classes in your pod have completed Step 1….work together to create the mascot for your pod, provide details to Professor McGonagall for approval, and then DO IT!
(Grade K/1 – Owls; Grade 2/3 – Dragons; Grade 4/5 – Phoenix)
Upon completion, shirts will be handed out!
She is currently receiving Classroom Proposals and these are displayed in the window at the Office. Please encourage your child to follow through on their classroom commitments for this project. We will keep you updated as classes complete.
SHADOW BOX PERFORMANCE
For those of you who missed our Remembrance Day ceremony, here is one of the many powerful pieces that were shared. This piece was created by the very talented Cheryl Hillier and Angela Schmuland with our Grade 4s and 5s.

MISCELLANEOUS
A calendar magnet was sent home with each student. If you did not receive yours or you are part of a split family, please come by the office to pick one up.
There are four weeks to go before Term 1 Report Cards are published online. We would encourage you to try to login to your MyEd BC Family Portal Account as soon as possible. This will ensure that you can get online and are ready to access your child’s report card on December 14. If you have any trouble getting online, please feel free to contact the office for assistance.
