On this beautiful, sunny afternoon it’s hard for me to imagine that Christmas is just around the corner.  Classes are preparing for the Christmas Concert, which will take place on December 14 at 1:30pm and again at 6:00pm.

Blacklock has a wonderful reputation of being very generous to the needs of our school community.  The Christmas Store elves have successfully wrapped over 1,000 presents in preparation for sales on Tuesday, December 5, and Wednesday, December 6.  All money raised at the Christmas Store will provide the necessary resources to fund Christmas for needy families.  For more detailed information, please click here:  Christmas Store

The PAC are busy preparing for the Christmas Family Dance, to be held on Thursday, December 21, at 5:30pm and on December 22 they will host our traditional Pancake Breakfast with Santa.

Two of our students have initiated a charity event where they collect new socks for people in need in our community.  If you have any new socks that you would like to donate to this cause, please drop them off at the office.

Please note two upcoming early dismissal days:  Tuesday, November 21 @ 1:30pm for Collaboration Day and Monday, November 27 @ 10:45am for Report Card Preparation Day.  Please make arrangements to have your child(ren) picked up at the appropriate times, as there is no supervision once they are dismissed.
