Good afternoon Blacklock Families,
After 10 wonderful years at Blacklock Fine Arts School, 32 in the Langley School District and 41 years in total it is time for me to exit the stage. I have so many wonderful memories and will forever be grateful for all of the families and staff that I have had the pleasure to meet throughout my journey. I look forward to sharing more with you in future blasts but at this time I would like to introduce the incoming Principal Ms. Melissa Reimer, current Vice-Principal at Nikomekl Elementary School.
The first of our POD shows will hit the stage tonight at 6pm. The grade 4/5’s and their staff have worked extremely hard on their production of “Growing Pains”. This is a reminder that students are to be at school in their blacks at 5:30pm, doors will open at 5:40pm and donations will be gratefully received to help cover our ongoing production costs. Thank you for your support, see you tonight!

Langley Music Choir
Langley Children’s Choir is looking for singers!
- School choir members (if your school has one)
- Good attitude and enthusiasm!
- Advanced vocal skills, and the ability to focus
- A firm commitment to the group
- Desire to develop as a singer and choir member
- Make new friends who like to sing, too
- Learn about how to sing better and learn lots of music
- Perform at other schools (a day off!)
- Have fun on a choir tour or camp in the spring
- Sing at festivals and hear other great choirs
